What watches do the England football team wear?

With the 2022 Qatar World Cup due to start on November 20th, I thought it would be a fitting time to see what watches our men’s England football team have been wearing. Its no secret that male football players get paid a very hefty sum so it will be very interesting to see what luxurious watches they spend their cash on. So without further ado, let’s get our game faces on and get into it.

Gareth Southgate – Hublot Big Bang E

So let’s kick things off with the England squads manager, Gareth Southgate. This year, as its already been confirmed, Southgate will actually be wearing a Hublot Big Bang E during the World Cup. Hublot will be the official timekeeper for the 2022 World Cup and as a result will be worn by all referees, linesmen, fourth officials, and select managers. Hublot aren’t newcomers in the world of football as this is their 4th time as the official timekeepers of the World Cup.

This smart watch comes equip with all the technology you could ever need such as GPS, Wi-Fi, Google pay, and Bluetooth. Because of its great connectivity and smart features, this watch is the perfect gear for football fans; the watch is synced up to football matches and gives all the updates you need to know including penalties, red & yellow card, scored goals, timekeeping etc. The official version features a burgundy dial, black ceramic bezel and casing, a black and burgundy rubber strap, and a 44mm smart screen. The watch has a battery life of 1 day. This impressive piece of kit will cost you £5000 at retail price.

Southgate has already confirmed that he will be wearing the watch to the games and has previously been seen wearing Hublot on many other occasions. He was seen wearing a Hublot watch to the 2020 Euros and at the 2018 World Cup.

Harry Kane – Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5164R-001

Next up is team captain and striker, Harry Kane. Kane has quite the watch collection said to be worth around £400,000. From speculation, his collection seems to be mostly made up of Patek Philippe watches but today we are gonna focus on just one of the many, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5164R-001.

This watch has a gorgeous embossed brown dial with gold number hour-markers and hands. The brown is also carried through to the strap which is said to be made of a “polymer material”. Complementing the brown beautifully is the rose gold bezel and 40mm case which gives the watch a real earthly and warm tone. The watch features a dual time mechanism and is powered by Caliber 26-330 S C FUS movement. This watch retails at £49,050 but can resell for over £100,000.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116518LN

Now let’s take a look at Trent Alexander-Arnold and his amazing Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116518LN. I personally really love this watch, its right up my street. With a modern and sleek look I think this watch is a great piece.

The 40mm watch is made from 18ct yellow gold which contrasts really well against the black oysterflex strap. The whole look is tied together by the gold and black dial and the black bezel with a golden tachymeter scale. Powered by a caliber 4130, this stylish watch costs £24,550 at retail price.

Raheem Sterling – Rolex Day-Date 40 228235

This speedy Man City player doesn’t shy away from showcasing his luxuries, and in this picture we can see him wearing a Rolex Day-Date 40. The colour scheme of this watch is just gorgeous.

This watch is made from 18ct everose gold and features a fluted bezel, a olive-green dial with rose gold roman numeral hour markers, and a president bracelet. I think the olive dial complements the rose gold so well. This watch is powered by the calibre 3255. To buy this piece from retail it would set you back £33,950.

Jordan Pickford – Rolex Daytona 116523 Chronometer

Last but not least our goalie. Jordan Pickford is known to be a great goal keeper so it’s only right that he has a great watch too. Here we can see him wearing a beautiful Rolex Daytona 116523 Chronometer.

This watch is made from oystersteel and yellow gold which matches the gold tachymeter bezel amazingly. The white dial with gold details really completes the look of this watch. This watch is powered by the calibre 4130 and costs £15,100 at retail price.
