Here at The Watch Village, we understand that when making a purchase you may have questions regarding how to order, your rights as a buyer, delivery questions etc. In order to help, we have answered some of our most frequently asked questions below. Should the answer to your query not feature, please simply contact us and one of The Watch Village team will be on hand to help you.

Are your watches brand new?

Here at The Watch Village we deal only in second hand and used watches. Each of our watches for sale have been through thorough testing & checks to make sure they are in perfect physical & working order.

Do you ship globally?

Yes, any watch purchased from us can be sent to any location around the world.

What payment methods do you accept?

When purchasing via our website we accept all major payment methods including VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Maestro & PayPal. Should you wish to purchase in person or over the phone we accept cash-on-collection and direct bank transfers.

Do you accept part exchange?

Yes we do. Should you wish to part exchange your watch please contact us so a member of our team can arrange for an examination, detailing and valuation of your watch in order to accurately give you a part exchange value against your order.

Do you buy watches?

Here at The Watch Village we are always interested in purchasing high quality luxury watches. If you have a watch that you wish to sell, please get in touch with us.

When will my order arrive?

If your delivery address is within the UK, watches are sent via a fully tracked & signed Next Day service. All UK orders are despatched within 24hours of successful payment and should arrive the day after despatch. If your delivery address is outside the UK but within Europe, your order may take between 1-2 weeks for delivery. If your delivery address is outside of Europe your order could take 2-3 weeks to arrive after despatch.

Do you offer finance?

We currently do not offer finance options when purchasing a watch from us, but we hope to bring you this feature soon.

What happens if there is a problem with my order?

In the unlikely event that there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible in order for us to investigate the problem and offer a solution.

What is your returns policy?

We know how tricky it can be when selecting the perfect watch for yourself. Should your purchase not meet your requirements, or if you are unhappy with the item we ask that you please make us aware within 48 hours of receipt. Due to hygiene purposes, we kindly ask for you not wear the watch until you are completely satisfied with it. If the security seal attached to the watch is broken, returns will be void. If you do wish to return your item, you have 14 days from receipt to return the item for a full refund. We do ask that the item is returned to us in its original packaging, in the same condition that it was received and security seal intact. You must ensure that any item returned to us has the appropriate level of shipping cover. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the item. Items that have been worn, adjusted or personalised will only be eligible for a refund if the item is faulty.

Is my watch guaranteed?

All of our watches are checked against records to ensure authenticity and ownership status. Additionally, we offer a 1 year warranty on every watch sold.

Our 1 year warranty is subject to the same terms and conditions as the manufacturer warranty. The standard manufacturer warranty does not cover theft or loss of the watch. Normal wear-and-tear or damage caused to the watch by accidents or mishandling/mistreatment are also excluded, as well as damage caused to a watch due to submersion in water which is against the manufacturer's guidance. In particular, wear of the watch strap is not covered by the warranty, nor is battery life. Any modification of a watch by the addition or substitution of components by aftermarket products which have not been provided by the manufacturer will also invalidate the warranty. The use of aftermarket components can severely compromise the technical performance, reliability and waterproofness of the watch. If your watch has developed a fault, you can return it to us for inspection. If the repair is covered by your warranty, it will be undertaken free of charge. Can I claim back the VAT?

The majority of our stock is sold under the VAT margin scheme, whereby it's not possible for customers to reclaim VAT. Occasionally we may be able to supply goods on a VAT invoice where the VAT is reclaimable (but only if the item has not been purchased under the VAT margin scheme). For clarification on the VAT status of a particular watch please get in touch.

Do you price match watches?

As we only sell pre-owned luxury watches, price matching is incredibly difficult as each timepiece will vary in condition, age, value etc. Meaning it isn’t as straight forward as a regular retail price matching scheme. However, should you find your desired watch cheaper elsewhere, please contact us and we can see if there is a possible solution.
