TAG Heuer Carrera Muhammad Ali WAR2A13 review 🎬

In 2016 TAG Heuer produced their first ever watch that paid tribute to the most iconic boxing legend of all time Muhammad Ali; the black dialled TAG Heuer Carrera WAR2A11. The watch was initially released as part of a special edition run which lasted only for a short period of time. However, in 2017 TAG decided to release a second version of the watch, this time the blue dialled WAR2A13 variant, which was limited to a number of 1000 pieces.

Marking the launch of these new watches and pay respect to Ali's legacy to fight Parkinson's disease, TAG commissioned a very special edition of this watch; the solid gold WAR2A40. This stunning piece was produced exclusively to be auctioned off with all proceeds going towards to Muhammad Ali Parkinson Centre.

These stunning watches are encased in a 43mm stainless steel housing, decorated by a beautiful ring master style dial. The matt blue/black dial is additionally decorated with Muhammad Ali's signature and smart date window at the 6 o'clock position.

The Muhammad Ali portrait caseback protects the Calibre 5 movement that powers the watch and is completed with a durable, breathable black/blue leather strap that is coloured vibrant red underneath.
